Sony Ericsson PSP Phone

Remaining as vaporware for so many years, it's hard to believe that we are finally seeing the Sony PSP Phone in the flesh. The multiple pictures of the highly awaited smartphone looks to be boasting Android 3.0 Gingerbread and resembles the rendering we saw earlier this year.

Looking like a cross between the PSP GO and the Android Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, Engadget reports that the device packs a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM and a display size estimated between 3.7 and 4.1-inch.
While it does have a gamepad, its believed to also be a touchscreen just like the XPERIA X10 and supports microSD cards. While the processor is approximately 200MHz faster than the T-Mobile G2, there are some doubts about whether the Android platform is the best choice for a gaming phone.
Being a prototype model, we don't see any UI overlay, just plain vanilla Android here folks. The Playstation Phone is expected to release sometime late 2010 / early 2011, which unfortunately gives Sony enough time to lay their Timescape over the Android OS. More on this as it develops.
